Brooklyn-based writer, editor and recipe developer Leah Vanderveldt is a nutrition and wellness expert who is passionate about promoting natural goodness. Leah focuses on plant-based recipes, and uses fresh, flavourful and natural food to create delicious dishes that will make you feel good from the inside out. The CBD Kitchen is the latest addition to her cookbook collection, which incorporates CBD oil in a host of nourishing recipes. We caught up with Leah to find out a little more about her new cookbook, why she loves CBD oil and her future plans.
Tell us a little about CBD oil
CBD oil is a powerful anti-inflammatory, because of that and the way it works with the human body, it has the ability to help relieve a myriad of issues. CBD has personally helped me manage my anxiety and mood in a holistic way. It became an important part of my daily routine and I can easily combine it with a morning tonic or smoothie or an evening meditation. I don’t think of it as a magical cure, but I do think that it’s a great tool to complement other beneficial habits, like eating well and practicing mindfulness.
