Q-When making a nut roast or something similar in which I would use egg to bind, what are the best plant based alternatives?
A-We’ve been raised with the notion that eggs are a necessary ingredient for many things. However, there are so many plant based alternatives that can easily be used in recipes to replace and mimic the egg as a binding ingredient. As well as the readily available, commercial eggreplacers, there are a number of natural substitutions, some of which may surprise you.
