STEVE TILLING (CIRCU5)
The great and good of progressive music give us a glimpse into their prog worlds. As told to Grant Moon.
Where’s home?
Swindon, for every second of my 54 years so far.
What’s your earliest memory of prog?
Listening to Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds in 1978 when I was seven. My dad borrowed it from a mate at work and played it most evenings. I’d sit there, gazing wideeyed at the booklet’s late Victorian/early Edwardian artwork, reality and fiction blurring.
What was the first prog album you bought?
