WIIM SOUND Foolish, perhaps, to take on Apple, Sonos, Amazon and Google at their own game, but top marks for having a go. Wiim’s newest launch is Sound, a 100W smart speaker with a focus on audio quality – automated room correction, four-inch woofer and dual tweeters, the option of doubling up to a pair for room-filling stereo, and a personalised “sweet spot”, which adapts to where you’re sitting and retunes itself if you move. It incorporates a dinky touch screen – great for those who resent fiddling with their phone unnecessarily – and voice control via Google
