JEROME FROESE
Sunsets In Stereo MOONPOP
Ex-Tangerine Dreamer returns with evolution of his emotional ‘guitartronica’.
It’s nearly 20 years since Jerome Froese was a member of Tangerine Dream, but given his name and the long shadow cast by his father Edgar’s legacy, coming to some kind of reconciliation with his past still seems to be uppermost in his mind. Sunsets In Stereo is an important part of that process, being perhaps the best expression yet of his self-named ‘guitartronica’ style of instrumental music, while also embracing the sound of classic late 70s/early 80s TD, simultaneously forging a link between the two and pointing a way to the future.
