Modern melodic prog flagbearer returns with classy third album.
Nearly four years have gone by since vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jonas Lindberg’s second album, Miles From Nowhere, a record that paid spiritual homage to the prog greats of the past with its side-long, multipart 25-minute title track, as well as other songs that clocked in at 16 and 12 minutes. Time Frames isn’t quite so weighty, though it is bookended by 13 and 17-minute songs while the other five songs average out at around eight minutes.
