Staff at an Oban hotel had to call the police when a guest turned nasty because they refused to falsify his account.
Mario Eugenio Pisaneschi from Glasgow was working as a marine engineer in the town and his employer arranged accommodation for him at the hotel, including a daily £20 allowance for food and non-alcoholic drinks.
‘He asked the receptionist if he could charge alcohol as food so his company would not be aware.
