Not long ago, anyone over the age of 60 was fair game to be described as 'elderly' in their local newspaper. That's now laughable, if not downright outrageous, and Saga customers seem to agree.
In our survey of 3,500 of you, 79% agreed that 'older age' begins at 70-79 or later, and similar numbers believe 'middle age' starts at 50-59 or later. These ages have crept up over the past 50 years, say experts.
