What is your daily writing routine like?
It varies depending on the novel. Usually, I write in the morning, but for Absolution I wrote almost continuously from when I woke up to when I went to sleep, for six months. At the end of that experience, I had a hefty novel written. So in this case, ecstatic visions and character insights put me in an altered state such that “process” was just… life.
