BEELINE VELO 2
Unless you’re the kind of cyclist who dresses head to toe in Lycra and wears those shoes that make you sound like a horse when you walk, a specialist bike computer like the ones made by Garmin or Hammerhead is probably overkill. Beeline’s new Velo 2, however, could be right up your cycle lane. While the original Velo was essentially just a digital compass, the sequel adds a new, more detailed navigation interface and the ability to choose your route depending on how much of a hurry you’re in to get there – but without losing the simplicity that made the first one such a joy to use. And with the ability to upload routes from Strava, it might even appeal to some of the clippy-cloppy Lycra crew. £80 / global.beeline.co
