ZENLESS ZONE ZERO
It’s been impossible to ignore the phenomenon of Genshin Impact, an anime open-world game that’s proven itself more than just a Chinese knock-off of Breath Of The Wild thanks to its fun combat and constantly growing roster of memorable characters. So it should come as no surprise that we’re getting more than slightly excited about the next big thing arriving from its creators, HoYoverse.
While details are scarce right now, we do know that Zenless Zone Zero has more of a post-apocalyptic future vibe – it’s set in the metropolis of New Eridu, where humanity is under threat from Ethereals invading through portals known as Hollows. Expect HoYoverse’s familiar brand of fast-paced action and cute character designs.
