Trisquel 11.0 Aramo
Nate Drake goes from being a Boy and his Blob to Trisquel, a truly free open source and blobless operating system.
IN BRIEF
Trisquel gives you peace of mind against undisclosed (and potentially dangerous) proprietary code. Still, this may be the very code that makes features such as Wi-Fi and advanced graphics work.

How free would you like your Linux? The developers of Trisquel (say “Triss-kel”) claim the OS is among a handful of Linux distros that interpret “free” literally. This means the OS contains no blobs (binary large objects). These are usually compiled proprietary code such as firmware and drivers, which means certain wireless and graphics cards may not be compatible out of the box.
