IF YOU’RE THE sort of person who thinks bigger is better, the BMW XM is likely to appeal. Developed by the brand’s M performance division, it’s not only physically big, at just over 5.1m long, but in range-topping form it also has the most power of any BMW SUV on sale.
But does the XM feel special enough to justify the huge amount it costs? After all, that flagship XM Label variant is priced at £154,800, while even the entry-level XM 50e that we tried will set you back around £17k more than a Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid.
