IF YOU’RE A fast talker, you might need to pace yourself when telling people about the MG S6, otherwise they’ll think it’s named after the county north-east of London. But hey, TV’s The Only Way is Essex has lasted 35 series so far, so perhaps this new electric family SUV will lodge itself in the public consciousness too.
MG certainly hopes so. The S6 slots in between the smaller S5 and the bigger IM6 in the brand’s line-up, to rival the Kia EV6 and Skoda Enyaq, both of which it undercuts on price. And, on paper, that comes without compromise on performance or range.
