Writing Magazine presents a selection of current international small press submission calls. We strongly recommend that you read backlist titles, familiarise yourself with their guidelines before submitting, and check websites for submission details.
Workers Write! is inviting submissions of nightclub-related stories and poems for issue 19, which will be Tales from the Club. Submissions should be written from the perspective of anyone who works in a nightclub, discotheque, bar, cabaret, pub or any nightspot, including bartenders, bouncers, promoters, entertainers, managers, strippers etc. Writing may be between 500 and 5,000 words. Previously published writing may be considered. There is a payment of $5 to $50 depending on length. The deadline is 31 December.
