TRAVEL WRITING KNOW-HOW
Patrick Forsyth
Writing a record of your travels can be a beguiling process that brings pleasure to the traveller and their friends and family. Taking a wider approach is not easy. It is not easy to get travel memoirs published, especially if they’re just about ‘what I did on my holidays’.
It is, however, possible to create something professional and go for a wider audience. Consider Josie Jones. She may not be (forgive me Josie!) in the first flush of youth, but her book, Travels with a technologist became available recently. Its genesis is interesting and has taken a while.
