Red Editing Pen
Each month, we give you a few sentences which would all benefit from some careful use of your red editing pen. As writers, and regular readers of Writing Magazine, you should not find any of these too difficult. 1 This morning James is preparing himself for the meeting, which had been scheduled for 2.30pm, inside of his publisher’s offices.
2 Morris was basically worried about the possibility of his novel being caught up in a slander case because some of his characters, not well-known in themselves, could be recognisable.
