Days are getting longer, and life moves out of doors into gardens and parks, beaches and balconies. For writers, this means lots of opportunities to write in different places.
So this month, take your free-range writing forays out and about. Try writing in a pavement café, for example, or on a park bench.
We’re creatures of habit; we always sit in the same chair in the evenings, park in same part of the car park and stick to our favourite brands. But following routines doesn’t allow space for new experiences, and living creatively means embracing the new.
