The 19-acre former South Crofty tin and copper mine in the village of Pool, near Redruth in west Cornwall, closed as recently as 1996 and is now part of a local mining landscape World Heritage Site.
The redeveloped Robinson’s Shaft site is named Heartlands and one of the events run here in two halls is a regular antiques and collectors’ fair, with up to 60 tables including brass and copper items and out of print books on Cornwall.
The next is on Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6.
