This month is all about polymer clay, this versatile material can be used to create a wide range of jewellery pieces and in this issue we show you how. If you are not a fan of polymer yet or think it’s just the fun stuff that kids use then we’re going to change your mind. Featuring techniques ranging from complex and detailed canes, to very convincing faux stones. We show you how you can replicate other materials with polymer clay and how much it can bring to your jewellery making. Prepare to be wowed by Cynthia Gougian’s guide to making Faux Stones, where she recreates Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and more. Other techniques include how to make beautifully detailed Kaleidoscope Cane by Cara Jane Hayman and how you can use Skinner blends to create Marvellous Mosaic pendants. We’re also excited to be featuring an interview and guide to Baking Polymer Clay by Ginger Davis Allman, where she helps you overcome the challenge of curing your pieces and answers questions about her popular polymer clay website. So with all that plus our fantastic regular features, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy in this polymer clay issue of Making Jewellery, out now!

Great magazine

I'm really enjoyed this issue. It was so good that I've purchased a subscription to this magazine. Reviewed 09 March 2017

good magazine app

I like this app;but the free issue I got took forever to download. Other than that, just like the newsstand issues. I wish the single issues were a little cheaper.I realize this magazine cost more on newstands because it is an import, but digital??? Love the contents~and the pictures show up wonderfully.
