The songwriter behind Stay (I Missed You) returns with a ninth album of tasteful introspection. Most of All’s a lilting slice of nostalgia with an especially dreamy chorus, and Loeb’s voice sounds especially sweet on the acoustic Sing Out, while This Is My Life’s semi-acoustic pop is perfect for the imminent Friends revival. Doesn’t It Feel Good’s casual vibes will also reassure those stuck in unfulfilling relationships, though there are mixed messages: Another Day encourages romantic endurance, its piano pleasingly pacifying.
