This brilliant free system-analysis tool has been updated yet again, with a host of improvements and useful new features. These provide even more insights into your PC’s hardware and software.
Several additions in Glow 25.14 relate to its analysis of your monitor in its Graphics Card section. It now detects the name, manufacturer and serial number of your monitor; the week and year it was built; the screen resolution and refresh rate; and even the type of cable connecting the monitor to your PC – such as HDMI. The Graphics Card section also now tells you the names of your DirectX drivers, in case you need to update them manually.
