Light work
HP’s OmniBook 5 is a great choice for anyone looking to step up from a budget laptop. Inside, you’ll find one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 processors. The X1-26 is an eight-core ARM-based chip designed for use in cheaper computers.
In our benchmark tests, it scored just 2,414 points in our single-core test and 11,309 in our multi-core test. That matches Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 13 (£879 from www.snipca.com/56883), even though the Microsoft device costs £80 more.
