Shoot photos like a pro
Embrace urban shooting and you’ll never run out of ideas
Wandering around any urban location, you should expect the unexpected and be ready with your camera. This means not having the camera stowed in the backpack but around your neck or in your hand so if you see a photo you can quickly turn it on and take a shot.
However, there are many other considerations, too. You also have to remember to set an ISO speed suitable for the lighting level, check that appropriate exposure and focus modes are engaged and that functions such as the self-timer or autoexposure bracketing don’t remain set from a previous shot.
Probably the most important factor, though, is having your brain in gear. That sounds obvious but that is the difference between an average and capable urban photographer. So always be ready to shoot.
