Smoke and mirrors

There are many materials out of which you can create abstract images, but one of the most visually dynamic is smoke as you are guaranteed a different result each time. There are generally two ways of going about this; the first is to burn something and then record the smoke trail. The other is to use a Smoke Ninja machine to generate plenty of smoke and then confine it to a small area in which you can generate swirling patterns.
