Walking the walk
Building on a path laid by Death Stranding, Baby Steps does something that feels both obvious and inspired with the term ‘walking simulator’ – it takes it literally. ‘You want walking to be simulated?’ it asks. ‘Try this.’ Now the act of putting one foot in front of the other without toppling over becomes a challenge in itself, the kind that toddlers have to navigate until their brains acclimatise to a life of upright mobility.
