It’s no surprise, from the fairydust intro to the judicious December release and sleeve showing two children hanging stockings over a fireplace, that Keeping The Dream Alive has been cast as a Christmas record. Freiheit, the German synth-rock band responsible, have always denied a seasonal connection but remain grateful to their marketing people, as the inference has kept the track on festive playlists and Christmas compilations ever since.
