It’s fair to say there’s still no love lost between UB40 and Ali Campbell’s offshoot.
Press for the band’s 21st studio effort has been keen to remind us there’s still “all but one of the surviving founder members in its line-up,” while also appearing to throw shade by referencing the youthfulness of new singer Matt Doyle. A further claim about “the indomitable spirit of brotherhood” almost seems like a sarcastic joke.
