Charlie Watson is a busy woman, who is working hard to change the way people approach healthy eating and fitness. “I’ve just qualified as a registered dietitian and am looking for a Band 5 hospital job to work alongside my blog and Instagram business,” she told WR.
She describes herself as not being a natural runner, but she has finished enough marathons to show the world that she is a real runner.
We asked what her latest race was. “I recently returned from Nepal with Impact Marathon, working as one of their team members on social media, running a trail half marathon through the Himalayas and building an irrigation system to help the main road from Kathmandu to one of the villages withstand the monsoon,” she said, reminding us how running can help to positively transform communities around the world.
“Next up is kick-starting my training cycle for Manchester Marathon in April 2020, where I’m hoping to run a PB – and a BQ!” (A BQ? Th at’s qualification for the Boston Marathon.)
