How often do you think about your joints, or do anything specific for their wellbeing? Runners place huge pressure on their lower limbs, the ankles, knees and hips, but so few of us do anything to counteract that. Runners who neglect their joints are more likely to pick up injuries, in those key regions or connected areas. Yet there’s plenty you can do, in your technique, kit, diet, exercises and even the surfaces you run on, to ensure good joint health.
