DIVISION TWO
DEWSBURY MOOR MAROONS have joined Waterhead Warriors – whose home game with East Leeds was postponed through the failure of Easts, who had lost 56-0 on their own midden, to raise a team – at the top of the table.
The Maroons are healthily placed after recovering from 8-0 down at half-time to beat NORMANTON (who are only outside the relegation zone on points difference from Milford) 18-14.
Normanton, who had won 21-16 in Wakefield, had led through tries by Stu Biscomb and Taylor Carter, while the Moor’s cause wasn’t helped by the sinbinning of Kieron Hepworth for a high tackle.
