Jai Field took the ball from a standing start and showed off his silky footwork to beat several defenders to grab his try.
ABBAS MISKI was the hero for Wigan as his first-half try double helped his side overcome the stubborn Huddersfield Giants to make it back-to-back Super League wins.
This will not go down as a classic, but Wigan did what they needed to do, while the Giants salvaged some pride after conceding 54 points at Leeds the week before.
The Giants’ forwards put in a shift in the first half, but it was the Warriors that led 10-0 at the break thanks to Miski’s brace.
“I thought he was our man of the match tonight,” said Wigan head coach Matt Peet.
“Out of yardage he was excellent, gets his tries and I thought defensively he was very good. He’s a pleasure to coach at the moment.”
