ON what was a good day for inactive leaders Hunslet Amateurs, the sides in second and third – Wath Brow Hornets and Rochdale Mayfield - both lost.
WATH BROW’S five-match winning run was ended by YORK ACORN who gained revenge for their 24-0 defeat in Cumbria.
Acorn were 12-0 up in as many minutes, thanks to Ant Chilton’s conversions of tries by Eddie Prescott and Davey Burns.
