LEAGUE ONE ROUND-UP
LONDON SKOLARS coach Joe Mbu admits he is not getting involved in any talk about any future takeover of the club, and what that might mean for his own future.
Talk has been rumbling all year about an Australian sports management company taking over the club from the current owners, but so far nothing has been finalised, and Mbu has said that until it is, it is business as usual.
So his focus remains on ending the season on a high as Skolars look to lift themselves off the bottom of the league, although that was not helped by their 14-30 home defeat to Cornwall on Saturday.
"We just have to let all that stuff happen and stay focused on what we have to do," said Mbu.
"As players and coaches, our focus in the game and I will keep coaching this group until I get told otherwise. It's a case of putting your best foot forward until you're told, or not, that your time is done.
"We just want to get a win or two before the end of the season and see the season out.
"We're full on focused on what we have to do in training and in games, and anything else outside that is out of our control.
