PREMIER DIVISION

THE top four sides all won as the tussle for placings in the play-offs begins to intensify.
Leaders HUNSLET AMATEURS scuttled THATTO HEATH CRUSADERS, who they had beaten 17-16 in St Helens, 48-0, with Josh McLelland and Tyler Dargan grabbing hat-tricks.
Omar Alrawi, McLelland (twice), Dargan and Jake Dearden raced over in the first half against visitors for whom scrum-half Ryan Houghton impressed.
And unanswered tries in the second period for Dargan (on two occasions), and McLelland, with Jordan Gale completing a seven-goal return with the boot and Jamie Fields landing a penalty-goal, took the South Leeds outfit close to the half-century.
Frustrated Thatto, meanwhile, had been chasing a third successive win but had Jack Jones sinbinned on 74 minutes, and Jake Dickinson yellow carded in the closing seconds, both for dissent.
