The new iOS 27 makes
communications easier and more useful. Messages now supports the RCS 2.7 standard, which improves texting with non-iPhone users: you can now have inline replies, edit and delete messages, and use normal message reactions: the recipient will get a heart icon instead of Your iPhone is much better at spotting triggers for action such as Reminders or Calendar entries, and supports third-party apps.

Messages’ one-tap suggestions include calling the person mentioned in a message, creating a new Note from a message and creating a new Calendar Mail’s search now hooks into Siri for effortless retrieval of relevant messages without endless scrolling. event for the plans you’re discussing. And if your phone has Apple Intelligence, Siri can write texts based on the way you’ve previously communicated with that person.
