Click Icon view to see Album thumbnails, or choose List view to see folder hierarchies for easier access to specific assets.

Options
Check the boxes available here to choose whether to include metadata and/or the edited version of exported photos.

Select
In Icon view, simply hold Cmd, and then click to choose complete albums that you want to export and back up.

Export
Click here to export selected files from your Apple Photos Library to the Photos Takeout folder on an external drive.
