MIXED FIBRES
Poly Fibre is a flexible synthetic material that is ideal for creating undergrowth, foliage, bushes, trees and vegetation. By teasing out the material to varying degrees, it can represent dense or sparse vegetation, draped over the branches of tree armatures and sprinkled with leaf effect scatter material to produce lifelike results. Mostly available only in green, this new pack from WW Scenics also provides a bundle of brown material. The latter is a real boon for replicating hedgerows and other vegetation with darker branches. Once teased out and covered in green scatter, the results can be ultra-realistic. Brown fibres also raise the possibility of modelling autumn and winter scenes.
