ALL BACK TO MY PLACE
THE STARS REVEAL THE SONIC DELIGHTS GUARANTEED TO GET THEM GOING...

COUNTRY ROCKER, CONNECTOR
What music are you currently grooving to?
I really like Medium Build, Remi Wolf and Gigi Perez. I love Lucy Dacus’s new album – and there’s this guy I listen to all the time called Ruston Kelly. Bon Iver’s new album is my favourite one he’s ever made. I’ve been making a lot of really lyrically focused playlists and listening to them out on my fishing trips in the Pacific Northwest. [Joni Mitchell’s] Hejira is the soundtrack of my life right now though, and it’s crazy how beautifully it dovetails with all that modern music. Absolutely ageless.
What, if push comes to shove, is your all-time favourite album?
I think [Joni Mitchell’s] Blue. That album created so many of us, whether we know it or not. [Elton John’s] Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy is a masterpiece as well as Tumbleweed Connection. [Queen‘s] A Night At The Opera and A Day At The Races are also foundational for me.
