Skilful Glengarry gardeners a cutting above

POOR summer weather didn’t stop skilful gardeners at this year’s Glengarry produce show.

The event, now in its sixth year, was again well attended with entries on par with last year.

The judges, who travelled to Invergarry for the event, were impressed with the standards on display across all the categories. Organiser Gayle Rand told The Oban Times: ‘With the poor weather this summer, it was especially pleasing to see so many vegetables and flowers – skilful gardeners indeed.’
