It’s party time with Oidhche Americana

CEÒL is Craic’s Oidhche Americana, which takes place on Friday night in the Centre for Contemporary Arts on Sauchiehall Street, is a celebration of the cultural connections between traditional Gaelic song and Americana music.

This year, the concert takes inspiration from the iconic duets of Nashville’s golden age.

Mairi Morrison and Dol Eoin Mackinnon (both currently starring in BBC Alba’s Bannan) will reinterpret traditional Gaelic standards as well as new compositions in their now inimitable style.
