Shoot Raw and you get more flexibility for post-shoot noise reduction
AS HIGHLIGHTED on the opposite page, if you shoot Raw files then you can leave the noise reduction stage until you’re working up an image in software. Unlike a JPEG, the level of noise reduction isn’t baked into the file, so you can try different methods without affecting the original image.
