THE PROG READERS’ POLL 2022
It’s that time of year again, folks! It’s been an interesting year too – reflected, I think, in the results of the Readers’ Poll. Some of progressive music’s big guns have slugged it out between themselves at one end and, at the other, one can see the arrival of artists who previously may not have featured in the poll, or who now find themselves rising higher. There’s an influx of up-and-coming artists making their presence felt, too. What it also shows is that we still enjoy a progressive music scene that’s in rude health. The diversity of acts voted for this year is broader than ever as well, which tends to back that up. As always, thanks to all of you who voted, congratulations to all nominees, and a very big well done to those who topped their respective categories. This, then, was your prog year for 2022. Let’s celebrate and look forward to 2023!

“A massive thank you to the readers of Prog magazine for voting us Band Of The Year. We really didn’t expect that, so we’re very pleasantly surprised. The support you have given us with the Closure/Continuation album and at the concerts this year has been amazing and we look forward to seeing you at our festival shows next summer. Have a wonderful New Year!”
