When filmmakers are producing a sequel to a blockbuster, the old adage declares that the audience want to see “the same thing, but different”. An identical principle applies when curating a line-up with two headliners. On paper, Amorphis and Eluveitie both fall into a microgenre that mixes progressive music, folk and metal, yet the ways they go about their goals are a hemisphere apart.
