“LITTLE Miss Sunshine is a name someone called me one time and it made me laugh because I was so angry all the time,” says Eaves Wilder of her debut album’s title. “I think women feel like we have to have this sunny disposition, but I feel much closer to a whirlwind inside.” Wilder, the daughter of writers Caitlin Moran and Pete Paphides, battled through an adolescence of anorexia and poor mental health. At one point, she almost considered retreating to a nunnery. “I think when we get scared, we yearn for simplicity and we want to go backwards,” she says.
