For many kinds of travel writing description is vital.
Finding the right way to describe something can be difficult, and also time consuming. This is especially so if you pause and agonise at length over, say, a single phrase. One approach helps. Take an article as a manageable example. First, think about the overall content and the structure: what will be included (and not), and in what order. Can you envisage a clear beginning, middle and end? And so on.
