Patrick Forsyth draws lessons in reader engagement from a recent book signing
I did a book signing event recently. It’s not something I do every day and the last one was way back; such activities have been mostly curtailed of late by Covid. I sat alongside two other writers, the High Street outside was heaving with people attending a Christmas fair, and there was a constant queue at the till throughout the evening. And I sold a worthwhile number of my new book Once a Thief, so all good and nice to see such things happening again.
