Memoir
When did you learn about or come to understand more deeply an unfamiliar social group or era because of a TV programme? For example, I gained new insights into gay culture in the 1980s through the AIDS docuseries on iPlayer, and got a glimpse into the backpacking phenomenon in the 1970s through The Serpent, which is a drama based on the true story of the serial killer, Charles Sobhraj. Try to think of a few examples.
