Another Interview with the Vampire
Formerly the basis of a 1994 blockbuster cinema film starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, now Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire is about to become a TV show, debuting next year in the US on the AMC network. Given the novel spawned numerous sequels, the reported plan is to develop an expanded Vampire Chronicles universe spanning many seasons akin to the same network’s The Walking Dead and its spin-offs. Rice and her son Christopher will serve as executive producers, while the showrunner will be Rolin Jones, who most recently oversaw the current adaptation of Erle Stanley Gardner’s classic Perry Mason character for TV.
