Many times in these columns I’ve touched on the need to consider an editor’s perspective. A piece of your writing is paramount to you, but for an editor it is one of many and dealing with amongst many things to do. Editors are busy people and over the Covid period they have been busier than ever, what with reduced staff, home working and more with which to contend.
